When submitting a suggestion users will be able to choose predefined tags to add the their suggestion. You can also set some tags to be moderated. This means only moderators can apply these tags. This is useful for tags like “Accepted” or “Denied”.

Creating a tag

You can create a tag by running /setup and using “Create Tag” button. Alternativley, if you have a suggestions forum you can create tags in its channel settings.

Completed Tags

Any suggestions that have a tag with the “completed” property are considered completed. They will be hidden from the Top Suggestions Post. Examples of tags you should consider adding the “completed” property to:
  • Accepted
  • Implemented
  • Denied
  • Not Possible
Tags with the “completed” property can only be created through /setup —> “Create Tag” or /setup —> “Select a tag to manage” if you are editing an existing tag.

Requiring Tags

If you want to require users to apply at least one tag when submitting a suggestion you can enable “Require Tags” by running /setup and turning the switch to “On”.
